C-GDGP

C-GDGP - STAR 1 operated by STARS Aviation Inc. of Calgary, Alberta is based in Calgary. STAR 1 started operations in 1985 and serves a 250 kilometer radius. STARS operates four BK117's which perform medevac duties throughout the Province of Alberta. Thanks to Joe Acker, General Manager, Edmonton STARS. Added 10/05/2003.


C-FIOM

C-GDGP - STAR 3 operated by STARS Aviation Inc. of Calgary, Alberta is based in Edmonton. STAR 3 started operations in 1991 and serves a 250 kilometer radius of Edmonton. Thanks to Joe Acker, General Manager, Edmonton STARS. Added 10/05/2003.


C-GBNH

C-GBNH - STAR 2 is one of two BK117's used as backup for STAR 1 and STAR 3. Crews consists of a Pilot, Co-Pilot, Flight Nurse, Flight Medic and Physician. Thanks to Mark McWhirter. Added 06/24/2003.

C-GVIY - British Columbia Air Ambulance Service operates two Bell 222 helicopters and one S76A helicopter (see photos below). The two Bell helicopters are under contract from Vancouver Island Helicopters. Thanks to Paramedic Randy L'Heureux. Added 01/21/2002.

C-GHJL - British Columbia Air Ambulance Service operates this S76A in Vancouver and is used by Adult Advanced Life Support crews and the Infant Transport Team. Thanks to Oscar Bernardi. Added 09/05/2003.


C-GHJV

C-GHJV / C-GHJT - British Columbia Ambulance Service recently contracted with Helijet Airways to provide these two S76 helicopters for use by the Infant Transport Team and the Adult Critical Care Paramedics.
These helicopters are based at Vancouver International Airport and provide coverage over about a 250 km radius. Thanks to Mike Elliot. Added 10/14/2003.

C-GIMA - Bandage One is shown here on the helipad at the London Health Sciences Centre (Victoria Campus). Bandage One operates three helicopters from bases in Toronto, Sudbury and Thunder Bay. Bandage One started operations in 1977. Thanks to Adam Masciotra. Added 06/16/2001.

C-GIMN - LifeFlight from Emergency Health Services Nova Scotia. This S76A is based in Halifax and is shown here landing at QEW II Health Sciences Centre. C-GENZ - This helicopter is owned by Bell Helicopter of Canada and is based at their facility in Mirabel, Quebec. It is on stand-by in case someone at the factory needs fast transport to a hospital. Thanks to Oscar Bernardi. Added 08/01/2002.
