N231UM - MedCenter 1 is based at Carolinas Medical Center in Charlotte. MedCenter Air operates two Bell 230 helicopters and three fixed wing aircraft. N485AEH - AirLink 1 from the New Hanover Health Network in Wilmington. AirLink started operations in August, 2001 and averages over 50 missions per month. N586BH - EastCare I landing at the helipad at Pitt County Memorial Hospital. EastCare was established in 1985 as the second air medical program in North Carolina. EastCare has two BK117s and both are based at Pitt County Memorial Hospital in Greenville. EastCare I is in service 24 hours a day with a Pilot and RN/RN or RN/Paramedic as the crew. N71703 - This BK117 is EastCare II and replaced a BO105 (N485EC) in 2002. This is a temporary aircraft until another BK117 is refurbished and painted in the EastCare color scheme. EastCare II is in service 12 hours a day with a Pilot and RN/RN or RN/Paramedic as the crew. EastCare serves a 29 county region of Eastern North Carolina. Thanks to Brent Stocks. N109DU - Duke Life Flight from the Duke University Health System in Durham. Duke Life Flight provides critical care transport to all of North Carolina and to portions of South Carolina, Virginia, West Virginia and Tennessee.
