N117KC- University Hospitals MedEvac 8 is based at University Hospitals in Cleveland. This is a joint program consisting of University Hospitals, CJ Systems Aviation Group and Stat MedEvac. Crew is Pilot, Nurse and Medic. The N number of this helicopter is a tribute to Flight Nurse Kelly Conti. N801CJ- University Hospitals MedEvac 12 is based at Lorain County Regional Airport. This BK117 replaced an EC135 in the fall of 2003. The N number of this helicopter will be changed to N118WS as a tribute to Pilot William Spence.
