G-SSXX - Essex Ambulance Service placed this EC135 into service in the summer of 2003, replacing a BO105. The helicopter is operated by Bond Air Services and is based at the Police Helipad in Boreham. The program is funded by public donations and serves the entire county of Essex during daylight hours. G-WNAA - Diana Princess of Wales Air Ambulance will enter service in August, 2003, serving the counties of Warwickshire and Northamptonshire. Base is located at Coventry Airport. Northamptonshire is the birth place of Princess Diana. Thanks to Neil Parkinson, Chief EMS Pilot. Added 07/10/2003.


G-EHMS - Virgin HEMS from London started operations in 1988 and is based on the roof of the Royal London Hospital in Whitechapel. It is shown here on the grounds at Westminster Abbey in London. This MD902 Explorer entered service in October, 2000. Thanks to Paul Fryer. Added 06/20/2003.


G-WMAS - County Air Ambulance operates 3 helicopters and started operations in 1991. This was the first EC135 EMS helicopter in the U.K. and serves a population of over 6 million people. Thanks to David Unsworth. Added 06/12/2003.


G-LNAA - Lincolnshire and Nottinghamshire Air Ambulance operates this MD902 and a BO105 from its base at RAF Waddington. The program first began operations in 1994 in Lincolnshire and was extended in 1997 to include Nottinghamshire. The crew is pilot and two paramedics. Thanks to Bryn Elliot. Added 04/17/2003.


G-WPAS - Wiltshire Air Ambulance is a joint project between Wiltshire Ambulance Service NHS Trust and The Wiltshire Constabulary and is funded by charity through the Wiltshire Air Ambulance Appeal. This MD902 was placed into service in 1998. Thanks to Bryn Elliot. Added 04/17/2003.


G-SPOL - The Thames Valley and Chiltern Air Ambulance Trust placed this BO105 into operation in May, 2002. The program started in 1999 and is funded by the people of Thames Valley. The helicopter is based at Grove Park, White Waltham, Maidenhead. The crew is pilot and two paramedics. Thanks to Neil Parkison, EMS Pilot. Added 02/02/2003.


G-SASA - Scottish Air Ambulance operates two EC135 helicopters from bases in Glasgow and Inverness. Crew is pilot and two medics. Thanks to Steve Hall. Added 06/02/2002.


G-BUTN - Scottish Ambulance Service at RAF Leuchars Airshow. This helicopter was in service until 1999. Thanks to Chris Jones.


G-KAAT - Kent Air Ambulance is based in Marden, Kent. The program started operations in 1989 and runs 7 days a week during daylight hours. The helicopter is leased from Police Aviation Services and staffed with PAS Pilot and 2 Kent Ambulance Paramedics. Thanks to Brian Whitelegg, Paramedic. Added 09/03/2001.


G-EYNL - Anglia One of East Anglian Air Ambulance based in Norwich, Norfolk started operations in January, 2001. This BO105 serves the counties of Norfolk, Suffolk and Cambridgeshire.
